POLAR PLUNGE 2015
It's that time of year again - CSEA Region 5 is participating in the Polar Plunge on Sunday, December 6th in Brewerton. Most of our Local Officers will be "freezin' for a reason," jumping into the frigid waters of Oneida Lake to raise money for New York State Special Olympics. If every member were to donate 50 cents, our Local would collect well over $500 to contribute to this fantastic cause! Consider passing the hat in the office to collect and pledge a few dollars. You can contribute to the CSEA Region 5 team online at http://2015CNY.kintera.org/faf/r.asp?t=12&i=1141911&g=6449687 or select one or more of our Local Officers on the Region 5 team page to donate to the individual team member. The link to my personal fundraising page is http://2015CNY.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1141911&supId=245645077. Donations may also be mailed. More information in that regard is available on the Polar Plunge web site. Thank you for your support to raise funds for the Special Olympics athletes!

DO YOU KNOW YOUR CSEA ID NUMBER?
Every CSEA Membership Number begins with “123.” If you do not know your membership number, you may obtain it through the CSEA web site, www.cseany.org, by clicking on “Look up your CSEA ID” at the top of the home page. Beginning this month, once a month we will randomly insert a member’s ID number somewhere within the text of a Receiver Notice. If you see your member ID number, contact me within 48 hours and you will receive a check for $20. (Our November 2015 member that received a $20 check was from Tompkins County.)
